This pattern is written in US crochet terms. The difficulty level is intermediate.
It includes two PDF files: the crochet pattern and a separate document with detailed picture tutorials and extra instructions (invisible decrease, the loop stitch, etc).

For this pattern, you’ll need:

• 5.00 mm crochet hook (US H/8 or UK 6)
• Medium weight to bulky yarn, 4 colors in total: color 1 (black) and color 2 (tweed) for the nose, color 3 (natural) for the body and paws and color 4 (green) for the spines
• Safety eyes
• Amigurumi stuffing
• Scissors

I designed this little hedgehog as a maternity gift for one of my best friends. The green yarn makes for soft and cuddly plushie. It’s my very first crochet design and I’m very happy with how it turned out!

The finished hedgehog is around 20 cm or 8 inches in length, with a height of 10 cm or 4 inches.
