I just can’t resist cute baby hats and I wanted to do one with ear flaps to make it extra warm. I used a stitch pattern which uses paired increases and decreases to create a bumby hattern reminiscent of soft prickles to make this hedgehog hat.

The body of the hat is knitted in DK yarn in the round on 4mm circular needles. The features are knitted flat using 3mm needles.
