Very detailed and Easy PDF PATTERN for creating knitted hedgehog!
More than 50 pictures! The file contains 29 pages.
Step-by-step instruction in English.
Level: for beginners. Basic skills of crocheting and knitting are needed.
When finished, the hedgehog is roughly 7-8 cm (3.15-4 inches) tall if you take the same yarn.
You need for work:
- Yarn. I use the yarn Silk tweed, Drops Nord, Alize Decofur. You can choose a yarn with a similar structure, but pay attention to a metric area. It will be ideally if you choose a yarn with metric area within 175 m in 50 g.
- Double pointed needles 4 pcs 1,5 mm.
- Stuffing. Synthetic fluff or hollofayber.
- White chenille wire for a frame of the legs. (if you have no wire, you can make the legs without frame)
- Eyes-beads or eyes with stalks (I have the second one)
- Transparent moment glue or a glue for a fabric. (if you sew the eyes and nose, than you will not need a glue)
- A device which help to insert a thread in a needle.
- A sewing needle, a piece of black thread, pins, 2 pcs.
- The hook 1,5 mm (to lighten the process)
- Oil pastel
- Thin brush
