The inspiration for this design is the United Nations Women’s
Organization, which stands and fights for gender equality around the
world. This is their logo and a great way to show you are HeForShe.

adapting it to fit any logo you like.

This cozy uses intarsia for the red and
navy design. Using stranded colorwork
would create very long floats across
the back. Intarsia eliminates those
floats creating a nicer fabric with less
puckering. The red and navy colors will
be on bobbins and as you follow the
chart, you simply knit from the color
identified on the chart. The yarn is not
carried behind the work but simply
left hanging at the end of each color
segment. Be sure to twist your two
yarns together before each color change. Otherwise you will end up with your intarsia design only attached at the top and the bottom but floating free on the sides.
