This hat is super warm with our without the brim and rose -- double fabric at the ears keep you toasty. One strand of both the sock yarn and worsted weight are held together for both the hat and scarf. The scarf is an easy peasy pattern that is attractive on both sides of the fabric (see pic #3). The hat is worked in the round and the scarf is worked flat.

Tons of pictures guide you through the provisional cast on of the hat, brim, three needle bind off and the rose.

The scarf pattern is both written out and charted.
