This beautiful lacy wrap has a gorgeous drape and is so easy to wear.
You can also use it as a big scarf for winter and use it all year long!
The Heidi Wrap is the perfect make for Spring, Summer and Early Fall. It looks fantastic worn casually or as the perfect accessory for a night out or event.
Perfect for adventurous beginners, this crochet wrap pattern has a 4 row repeat that is easy to remember.
Why adventurous beginner? Well, this one primarily uses single crochet, double crochet and chain stitches to create this beautiful texture. But there are also some spike stitches where you work loose single crochets into stitches two rows below. I have included figure photos in the special stitches to show you how to do this.
I would recommend using #2 weight yarn and a 3.25mm hook to get the gorgeous drape and the lightweight feel to this wrap, but you can use a #3 weight yarn and 4mm hook if desired.
Written in US terms
This wrap looks beautiful in a solid colour to really make the texture pop and amplify its elegance. You can also work this one up in cake yarn with longer colour changes. I suspect that using varigated yarn would detract from the texture of this one.
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Adventurous beginner / Intermediate as it uses a version of the spike stitch!
