Yarn: The shawls in the pictures are knitted in hand dyed SilkMerino yarn from Vatnsnes Yarn, which is a fingering weight yarn with 80% merino wool and 20% silk (The blue colorway is “September himinn” and the brown colorway is “Kaffi”). 100g/365m per skein, 3 skeins needed.

However, as long as your gauge matches the one given in the pattern, other types of yarn can be used.
