The shawls in the pictures are knitted in Le Petite Silk & Mohair yarn from Biches&Bûches, in the colourway grey beige. The yarn is a fingering weight yarn with 70% kid mohair and 30% silk, 25g/210m per skein. 4 skeins needed, but I recommend to always buy an extra skein.

Other yarn options: As long as your gauge matches the one given in the pattern, other types of yarn can be used.
