Heinäkuu socks are a part of summer 2024 sock knitalong (heinäkuu = July in Finnish).

They are knit toe up, there are two different types of delicate lace and interesting reinforced french heel.

1 basic size – ideal for the circumfence 20 cm. Length is adjustable. You can achieve the different size with another yarn, or changing size of the needles.

Gauge: 30 sts / 10 cm in stockinette stitch

Yarn: Kalevalanka Basic Sock or any other 4 ply or sock yarn. 2 colors (main and contrast color). I recommend solid or semi-solid colors, with a good contrast of each other.
