This is a blanket that is sure to become a family heirloom. The design has diamond lace in the center of the blanket, flanked by 2 panels of lace. The whole center is outlined in one row of eyelet. Worked in organic cotton, its soft and cuddly.

If you choose to use the organic cotton, I used 5 skeins. I had very little yarn left over. I tend to knit snugly, so you may want to purchase 6 skeins to make sure you have enough yarn.
