Heirloom Hood Top
The Heirloom Hood is inspired by the mystique of medieval hoods and the intricate elegance of Byzantine geometric patterns, this cardigan offers a timeless blend of old-world charm with a contemporary vibe The meaning of ‘heirloom’ is a valuable object that has belonged to a family for several generations, this name just fitted so well for a crocheted garment which is meant to last, be treasured, and have a historical meaning to it.
This is a graded crochet pattern. Designed to be fitted, each size has a measurement and a stitch count, so it’s easy to understand how big the piece will fit on your body. If you prefer a slightly looser garment, it is advised to upsize by one size. Sizes available range from XXS to 3XL.
The pattern comes in two versions: short sleeve, or long sleeve. Each sleeve type has a different pattern construction to achieve the best fit and balance for its length.

-Yarn material: This project utilizes a sport weight 2 yarn, crocheting with a hook (3mm). It will be a fitted garment, therefore it is suggested to use a yarn that it is soft and comfortable when close contact to the skin, for best results and comfort. Also, since the hook is small, avoid using raw cotton or yarns that will easily get stuck on your hook, so that your crocheting experience will be more enjoyable :)
