This girl’s garter stitch yoke cardigan was designed for the #5326 Snuggly Heirloom brochure by Sirdar. Starting with the sleeve cuffs then the body, the garment is knit seamlessly. Grafting/kitchener stitches are used to close the openings where the armholes meet the body. Short row shaping ensures the yoke back is not lower than the front. Please note that a chart is not needed for the eyelet rows.

TENSION
This pattern uses 20cm/8inch and 40cm/16inch circular needles to work the sleeves and body. Double pointed needles in the appropriate size could also be used.
Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
