This aran-style cable-crochet scarf uses front and back post crochet to create extraordinary cables. The soft drape and beautiful texture of the scarf will make it a staple of your wardrobe and possibly your new favorite accessory.

This pattern is written as a crochet chart that indicates the repeatable cabling section, allowing you to choose your own length for the scarf. The lace-inspired edging is also included on the chart and indicates repeatable or removable sections, so you can create variations, customize the lace or leave off the edging all together and make an infinity scarf.

The cables pop out beautifully in a bold or light color (dark or variegated colors may hide the details) and choose a yarn that will show the stitch definition (avoid anything particularly fuzzy).

Gauge: 20 dc stitches/row for 11 rows = 4”x4” square.
