“Helen the Headband” is a fast project which can be accomplished in a few hours (not including time to make swatches!). It’s worked in the round and then adjusted by elastic (to make sure it will stay at the needed place on your head).

Calculated head circumference - adult - 56 cm 22 in.

You will need:

1. 1 skein (125 m/136 yds) of any ARAN weight yarn, including the swatch piece.
2. Hook 4.00 mm US 6 size or any if you obtain the gauge.
3. Elastic thread, needle.
4. Optional - a brooch or beads to decorate in the center.
