Helicity
Twisted slipped stitches that wander around the hat like a helix make for a textural pattern that stands out in any yarn. The hat comes in several versions, pick the one you are most comfortable with: Tuque, Beanie or Slouch. the Tuque also transforms into a Slouch with a deep rib when the brim is unfolded.
Helicity is available in two sizes, the photos all show size 1, recommended for heads up to 22” circumference. if you prefer a loose hat or for larger circumferences, follow size 2.
Yardage needed:
Beanie: 128 yds/117 m (141 yds/129 m)
Tuque: 166 yds/151 m (182 yds/167 m)
Slouch: 138 yds /127 m (152 yds/140 m)
Use either any worsted weight yarn or a dk held together with mohair.
