he·li·o·pause (noun): The theoretical boundary where the sun’s solar wind is stopped by the interstellar medium.

This asymmetrical shawl design is meant to leave an imprint of the cosmic forces that surround us, by use of the gradient of contrasting colors that sweep across half of the shawl’s border. It is long enough to wear in a variety of positions and features a variety of techniques, including slipped-stitch-colorwork and a small repeated lace motif, which work together to give some texture.

Worked from the top down using the traditional garter tab method, this shawl is worked through to the tip before half of the sts for the border are worked sideways in your CCs.
