Helios is the Greek personification of the Sun. He rules the day and gives the Earth all the energy it needs to thrive. The relief Sun motif passes from dark to light, rising to start the day. Helios features a more simple stockinette based construction but heavier relief patterning than its counterpart sweaters.

This is a bottom up sweater made in two parts, front and back. Accessibility was the focal point of these sweaters. I wanted the designs to be interesting, engaging, fun, and ultimately easy for knitters of any level to knit.

The Sun relief motif is a charted pattern. It features only Knits and Purls and is worked flat (i.e. back and forth).
