This will give you a happy pop of colour on a grey day. It’s a fun gift to knit in one evening from a bright oddment of yarn.

It is intended to be quick and easy and therefore it is seamed up the side and knitted in mock cables - rather than the real thing. It has an (optional) 3 needle bind-off along the bottom for those who would rather skip as much sewing as possible. If that is too daunting, you can just cast-off and sew up the bottom too.

Materials

• MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino 100% wool, 125m/137yds per 50g ball. 31m/34 yds. If you are careful, you will get 4 standard size cosies from one ball of yarn. Remember to allow more or less yarn for custom sizes.
• 3.25mm/US3 needles
• Tapestry needle for sewing up

Tension
25 sts x 34 rows to 10cm/4” over stocking stitch using 3.25mm/US3 needles or size required to achieve tension.
