This cozy and warm headband may look like it’s knit, but it’s actually made with Tunisian crochet.

It can be made with any yarn you want, and it’s easily adjusted for any size.

Notes:

The Helix Headband is worked flat with Tunisian knit stitch, tks, and sewn together to make the beautiful twist.

Difficulty: beginner. You don’t need any prior knowledge of Tunisian crochet to make this headband.

Sizes: Baby, Toddler, Child, Tween, Adult female, Adult male, to fit head circumferences 14’’, 16’’, 18’’, 20’’, 21’’ and 22’’.
You can also choose between two different width sizes, small and large.

Materials: the gauge is specified for bulky weight yarn (Du Store Alpakka Pus), but the pattern is written for any weight yarn.

Yardage: approximately 55-75 yards of bulky weight yarn for adult sizes and large width.

Hook: 8mm tunisian crochet hook (or a no-handle ordinary crochet hook) with bulky weight yarn.

Gauge: 16 tks is 5’’.
