Part of my heritage is Greek, and I wanted to design a special piece inspired by Greek culture that non-Greeks would love as well. This extra-long scarf was created to wrap around my neck twice, but you can easily modify the pattern to make it shorter. It is a bit of slow work since it is primarily single crochet, but it makes a lovely product with a 2-sided design.

This scarf is worked across the length instead of the width, which means it will be a long time before you see the pattern clearly.
