Helleborus Winter Slipover
I think this pattern was born already with my genes. Generations of ancestors have been wearing Norwegian-patterned garments, and from my childhood I was used to wear Norwegian-patterned sweaters. They were always dark blue, dark brown, dark grey… and I always wanted to have one in red!! Now I finally have one to be used for this Christmas! This is my interpratation of an old Norwegian pattern, where I use the main-pattern as a waist-shaper in the beginning of the work. The pattern itself is based on an old pattern used for mittens, but with changes to give the possibility of being worked in the round.
The knitting itself is easy with no difficult stiches. The flower in the back below the neckline is embroidered and therefor some patience is needed. And you might find it helpful to have an experience reading a chart.
Pattern is available in English, and will be available in Swedish shortly.
