Something about the design
We are experiencing troubled times all around the world. Although it is of no use to stick your head in the sand it might be helpful to oneself to get a clear mind now and then.
For me knitting does the job.
With the Hello Earth Sweater I designed a pattern with colourwork that quickly repeats itself. The stitches of each new round can be easily memorized, leading to a meditative state of knitting.
This pattern is as filigree as our planet, the peace and we.

The pattern is worked for 8 sizes. The circumference of the washed garment is 100cm/39.25 inch (107/42.25, 112/44, 120/47.25, 128/47.25, 134/52.75, 142/56, 148/58.25). I recommend a size that gives 12cm/4.5 inch to 25cm/10 inch positive ease at the bust.
You can use any yarn that gives you this gauge:
25 sts and 36 rounds on 10 x 10cm/2.5 x 2.5 inch
Yarn and Yardage
The shown sample in ivory is made from Lang Yarns „RAW#10“ (90 % merino extrafine, 10 % baby camel, 100 g, 400 m / 437 yd). The MC (main colour) is undyed. The green CC (contrast colour) is knitted with one strand „Maschenwunders Hamburger Wolle RAW#10“ in colour „Mistkäfer“ and one strand Novita „Tuuli“ (60 % mohair, 40 % viscose, 25 g, 225 m / 246 yd) in colour 184.
The shown sample in brown is made from Urth „Spiral Grain“ (100 % merino extrafine, 50 g, 180 m / 196 yd) in MC „Katsura“ and CC „Jacaranda“.
Caution! If you use a bigger needle for the colourwork in the yoke: make sure that you have a little more yarn of the contrast colour in reserve.

Über das Design
Überall auf der Welt erleben wir unruhige Zeiten. Da hilft es nicht, den Kopf in den Sand zu stecken, aber es hilft, den Kopf ab und an frei zu bekommen. Mir gelingt das gut beim Stricken.
Mit dem Hello Earth Sweater habe ich ein sich schnell wiederholendes Einstrickmuster entworfen, bei dem das Muster jeder neuen Runde schnell zu memorieren ist, um ein meditatives Strickerleben zu erreichen. Dieses Muster ist so filigran wie unser Planet, Frieden und wir.

Die Anleitung ist für 8 Größen geschrieben.
Der Umfang des gewaschenen Kleidungsstücks beträgt 100 (107, 112, 120, 128, 134, 142, 148) cm. Ich empfehle eine Größe zu wählen die 12 bis 25 cm positive Weite auf Brusthöhe ergibt
Du kannst jedes Garn, das diese Maschenprobe ergibt wählen:
25 Maschen und 36 Runden auf 10 x 10cm

Material
Der cremefarbene Pullover ist aus Lang Yarns „RAW#10“ (90 % Merino extrafine, 10 % Baby Kamel, 100 g haben 400 m) in der Rohfarbe gestrickt, der grüne Schmuckfaden ist mit je einem Faden „Maschenwunders Hamburger Wolle RAW#10“ in Farbe „Mistkäfer“ und Novita „Tuuli“ (60 % Mohair, 40 % Viscose, 25 g haben 225 m) in Farbe Nr. 184 gestrickt.
Der braunmelierte Pullover ist aus Urth „Spiral Grain“ (100 % Merino extrafine, 50 g haben 180 m) in Farbe „Katsura“ und Schmuckfarbe „Jacaranda“ gestrickt.
Achtung! Falls Du die zweifarbige Passe mit einer größeren Nadel strickst: achte darauf etwas Reserve in der Schmuckfarbe zu haben.
