Hello Fall
Look at this crocheted hat looking like it is knitted.
You need to know the waistcoat stitch, how to carry yarn, and how to color change for this pattern. I have posted a video tutorial to help you learn this stitch on my Facebook page, Jennifer’s Stitched Up. YouTube tutorials are also available on all three.
This hat was inspired by my love for Fall and a wonderful knitted plaid hat using like colors on Pinterest. Choose to repeat the pattern for both the pumpkin and pie slice or repeat sections for only pies or only pumpkins.
The sizes available in the directions are changing a hook size only.
I suggest you be familiar with your tension and what size you like a hat to be and check your gauge.
You can change the colors to your liking using any weight 4 yarn.
I used I love This Yarn, Caron Simply Soft, Loops and Threads Impeccable, and Red Heart for this pattern.
