There is no gauge needed for this pattern, however, I made mine measure 11 x 14, for a kid to use as a travel pillow.

For a tighter look if you use off-colored stuffing (or even if you don’t), I’d probably go down a size in hook. If I make another one, I will probably do that myself.

You’ll need quite a bit of stuffing, maybe half a bag if not more, depending on how big you make yours/how full you stuff it. I used maybe 1/3 a bag of firmer stuffing.
