This crochet pumpkin is a quick project and can easily be altered to work up any yarn weight by changing to the suggested hook size on your yarn label. This pattern also includes a small, medium and large leaf template to use as a final touch!

Details:
You will want to crochet this with tighter stitches. If you notice your work is very loose and airy, you may want to go down a hook size so your stuffing does not peek through.

Difficulty:
Knowledge of working in the round and basic increases in the round are required.

Materials:
Worsted weight yarn, approx. 90 yards - example here shown in Lion Brand Heartland yarn and Loops and Threads Impeccable in Stillness
5.0mm crochet hook
Small stick, cinnamon stick or pumpkin stem of your choice
Polyfill or stuffing for the inside of your pumpkin
Scissors and darning needle for weaving in your ends.
Favorite cup of tea or coffee to enjoy while you relax.

Notes:
You can easily use any weight yarn for this pattern. Just use the suggested hook chart on the yarn label. Using a dk or sock weight yarn will give you a small pumpkin, and bulky or super bulky will give you a large pumpkin!
This pumpkin pattern as written will give you a pumpkin approximately 5 1/2” wide and 2 1/2” tall.
