Hello Sunshine is a cozy and warm sweater perfect for chilly evenings. Inspired by the sun, beach, and sea. The sweater is knit top-down using one strand of Peruvian yarn combined with one strand of Tilia. After the neck is completed, short rows (German Short Rows/GSR) are used to shape the neckline while increasing for the raglan. You can decide the length of the sweater yourself; measure as you go to achieve your desired length. We’ve created two versions—a short and a long one. The measurements for the total length and yarn requirements are for the long version.

The measurements provided are for the finished sweater, not body measurements, and assume correct gauge is maintained. The sizes are approximate and the sweater has a comfortable amount of ease. Sleeve length is measured from the armhole on the body (which sits slightly down the shoulder) to the wrist.

About the Embroidery:
The motif is embroidered using only two types of very simple stitches: backstitch and satinstich. Follow the drawings provided in the pattern. Start by stitching the outlines of the figures (in backstitch), then fill in the shapes with colors (filling stitches/satin stiches). The filling stitches should be as close together as possible to prevent the background color from showing through. Overlapping the stitches is recommended. It’s also a good idea to vary the length of these stitches. Note: The result will be most beautiful if you let the stitches follow the curves of the figures.

For the embroidery you need Water-Soluble interfacing, this is see-through so It makes it easy to transfer the embroidery motif to the interfacing. you follow the lines with the stiches, and when you are finished you put it in water and the interfacing dissolves. You also need an embroidery ring.
