I want to maintain both financial accessibility and fair pay, so I am offering a choose what you pay option for either the full price or you can pay 50% less with code HemingwayHalter50.

The length is easily customized to be knitted as cropped, just below the bust, or to the full length of your torso.

Needles:
4 mm US 6 circular needles (60, 80, or 100 cm). A second 4mm US 6 needles is optional.

Yarn: You will need (1.5, 1.5, 1.5) (2, 2, 2, 3) (3, 3, 3) (3, 3, 3, 3)(4, 4, 4, 4) skeins of dk weight yarn. Each skein is 331 yds/ 100g.

The length of the top is easily adjusted, however be aware that if you wish to extend the length you might require 1 extra skein.

Gauge:
20 sts x 30 rows per 10 cm/4” in stocking stitch on 4 mm needles. Be sure to wash and block your swatch for the most accurate results. You may need to go up or down by .5mm. It’s more important to meet the number of stitches than the number of rows.

Additional materials:
1-1.5m of elastic band for bra-band (note for light coloured top pick light elastic, for dark top pick dark elastic) in the following suggested widths (or 4 cm for all sizes would work too):
3.5 cm / 1 ⅜” for sizes 1-3
4 cm / 1 ½” for sizes 4-7
4.5 cm / 1 ¾” for sizes 8-11
5 cm / 2” for sizes 12-18
tapestry needle
scrap yarn or cables for setting aside stitches
several stitch markers, with at least 2 removable markers
safety pins
sewing needle and thread (for closing elastic)
if available, additional 3.5mm or smaller circular needle with any length cable (can be replaced by scrap yarn but these will make the hems go by easier)
