The Hemis Kachina normally appears at the last dance of the year in most Hopi Pueblos and is known as the Home-Going Ceremony. Elaborate tableta contains cloud and reproductive symbols. Body is painted with corn smut and contains light colored half moons. First Kachina to bring mature corn to Pueblo insuring future crops. Elaborate tablet contains cloud symbols to welcome rain.
