SKILL LEVEL: upper intermediate

FINISHED SIZE: approx. 22-23 cm (9 inches) tall using the materials stated in the pattern.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS :

1. Any yarn you would like. For my hen in this crochet pattern, I used 390m/100g of yarn called Lanagold Fine by ALIZE and 1.75 mm steel hook. I took only 40g.
2. Yellow yarn for the legs and the beak must be two times thinner then the main yarn. I used 600m/100g of yarn called Cotton Soft by YarnArt and a 1.50 mm steel hook. I took only 10g.
3. Red yarn for the comb and the beard. I used 500m/100g of yarn called Riva by Gazzal and 1.50 mm steel hook. I took only 10g.
4. Crochet hook 1,5-1,75 mm.
5. Polyester toy stuffing.
6. About 80 cm of a wire for a skeleton.
7. An insulating tape or sticking plaster for wrapping the wire.
8. Plastic buttons for making eyes. I used buttons of 8-9 mm.
9. Thread and needle for tightening.
10. Pastel and paintbrush for tinting.
11. Eyelashes and glue.
12. Accessories for toys decorating (yarn, ribbon and/or flowers).

VERWENDETE MATERIALIEN

1. Jede beliebige Hauptwolle. Für diese Anleitung habe ich LanaGold von ALIZE Fine LL 390m/100g und ein Häkelnaden 1,75 genommen. Verbrauch: etwa ½ Knäuel.
2. Gelbe Wolle für die Pfoten und für den Schnabel muss doppelt dünner sein, als die Hauptwolle. Ich habe die Wolle Cotton Soft von YarnArt genommen: LL 600m/100g, eine Häkelnadel 1,5. Verbrauch: 1/10 des Knäuels.
3. Rote Wolle für das Kammblatt und den Kehllappen. Ich habe die Wolle Semjonovskaja Berezka LL 430m/100g, eine Häkelnadel 1,5. Verbrauch: 1/10 des Knäuels. Als Ersatz kann man auch die Wolle Riva von Gazzal LL 500m/100g nehmen.
4. Eine passende Häkelnadel.
5. Synthetische Füllwatte.
6. Etwa 80 cm Draht für die Flügeln und für die Pfoten.
7. Pflaster oder Isolierband, um den Draht zu wickeln.
8. Plastikaugen oder Knöpfe von 8-9mm.
9. Extra starker Faden und eine Puppen-Nadel für die Einspannung.
10. Eine Pastellkreide in schwarz und ein Pinsel für die Tönung.
11. Wimpern und Kleber - nach Wunsch.
12. Rüschen für einen Rock.
