SHORT SUMMARY

The Henny Penny Sweater Fingering is a unisex, top-down sweater available in ten different adult sizes.
This sweater is knitted in one piece, top-down with increases on the yoke. Short rows are worked at the top of the yoke to raise the back neck for a better fit.

The sweater is knit with mostly two colors at a time, making it easier to knit. Additional colors can be added later using the duplicate stitch technique.

Materials:

• any 4 ply / fingering/light fingering yarn to achieve recommended gauge

I used Yarn Drops Flora (65% wool, 35% alpaca) 230 yds/1.8 oz (205 m/50 g).

Main color (mc): dark green

220 (250, 270, 290, 320, 340, 365, 390, 420, 440) g, 5 (5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9) skeins

Contrast color (cc): white

40 (45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85) g, 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2) skeins

Red: a little (less than 1 skein)

Yellow: a little (less than 1 skein)

This is approximate, so as the yardage will vary depends on your type of yarn

• main needle: 40 inch (102 cm) US 2.5 (3 mm) circular needles to achieve gauge.

• 40 inch (102 cm) US 1.5 (2.5mm) circular needles or one or half size smaller than main needle
