Theodóra is a charming little knitted doll designed by Hélène Magnússon. She gets new pieces of clothing regularly and also has friends and family! She comes alive in short stories written by author Harpa Jonsdottir. Hélène and Harpa work independently from each other so nobody knows what comes next! A rhyme written by the Icelandic poet Theodóra Thóroddsen, “Tíu litlar ljúflingsmeyjar” (“Ten charming little maidens”) inspired both the doll and the adorable stories: “The Adventures of Theodóra”.
In the first episode, “Out of the pen”, meet with her friend Henrietta, another charming little doll with red hair. She wears an adorable set inspired by the traditional Icelandic yoke sweater. It includes a yoke sweater and a fitted cardigan, a matching beret and a bag, and a lovely dress. The set is the opportunity to practice or try new techniques such as steeking, working top down, etc… while having a lot of fun!
The pattern for the doll (including “klukka” dress and underwear) is the same as for Theodóra. Only the colors are different. The doll pattern is NOT included in the lopi set.
The other clothes and accessories are separate patterns: look for the wardrobe available!
