Instructions are given for this generously proportioned cardigan in four sizes, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5 and 5-6 years. The pattern is a mix of a 4-row repeat double moss stitch, and three cable patterns, the rib of the cardigans is knitted in 2 x 2. The shaping is minimal, making the design suitable for an adventurous beginner or intermediate knitter. A handy tip – as the cardigan is generously proportioned, why not knit a longer rib on the sleeves so you can turn them back initially, turning the cuff down as your little one grows – meaning your beautiful cardigan can be worn for longer! The cabled hat can be knitted with a single or turned up band, instructions for the hat are given in two sizes, 2-4 and 5-7 years. The yarn used is a fingering/sock weight – slightly finer than 4 ply

You will also need a 3mm cable needle and 6 to 8 buttons depending on the size you knit.
