This is Henryton.

The hat and accompanying cowl feature two types of cables. Both patterns are included in a single download.

Two sizes of cowl are included: a small, tight version and a medium, looser version.

Each piece uses approximately 110-120 yards of yarn. If making the set, you’ll need approximately 220-240 yards of yarn. One skein of Lion Brand Re-Spun Thick and Quick is enough for one set (one hat and one cowl).

Important note about gauge and yarn:
Not all Super Bulky yarns will work for this pattern. Please check gauge! The gauge is: 3” x 3” – 12 sts x 12 rows, in K1P1 (relaxed, not stretched) using US 10.5 needles.

Yarn that works for this hat/cowl (not an exhaustive list):
Lion Brand Re-spun Thick and Quick
Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick
Malabrigo Rasta

Happy knitting!
