This shawl is a sampler shawl for half double crochet stitch combos. It was designed because I saw two yarns that just had to go together: Cozy Color Works/Riverrun and Honey Girl Farms/Murtagh. I had been thinking about doing a shawl with lots of different half double crochet (hdc) combo stitches and with the addition of one more color (Blue Steel by Cozy Color Works) this hdc sampler shawl came together. Named Her Denim Combo because it looks great with jeans and/or a jean jacket, this pattern provides detailed instructions for each of the twelve hdc and combo stitches used. This shawl is made with 3 skeins of DK and/or Sport weight yarn in three separate colors (minimum yardage 275 yards per skein).
