Herbarium Slipover - Wool Edition
This is a wool version of the original Herbarium slipover.
It is worked in an easy leaf pattern that gives it a beautiful texture.
The slipover is worked bottom in the round, up to the underarms. Then the front and back are divided to work each separately. The shoulders are shaped using short rows.
The pattern is charted. There are separate charts for each size once the shaping starts.
This pattern has been tech edited and test knitted.

Needles and Notions
4.5 mm / US 7 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needles for the body.
4.0 mm / US 6 40 cm / 16 inch circular needles for the neckline.
Cable needle, stitch markers and any other tools you normally use when knitting.
Needle size is for guidance only.
GAUGE
20 stitches and 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches using 4.5 mm / US 7 needles.
Gauge was measured over the central panel stitch pattern after washing and blocking.
For best results take the time to work a swatch, and wash and block it.
NOTES
The slipover has a central leaf and texture panel bordered by a garter stitch panel and a twisted rib panel that flows from the hem.
If you wish to shorten or lengthen the body of the garment, do so in multiples of 4 rounds/rows.
Please note: if you do this it will affect where you are on the textured Chart B and C, but you will easily be able to determine which row of the textured panel you need to work.
