Here is a basic pair of toe up socks in worsted weight with a short row heel that is super easy. No wraps and turns. It is a hard to find type of heel and not very popular, but honestly, I think it is the best and easiest and I smile every time I see it because I can’t believe how pain-free it is and how good it looks! It’s one of those techniques that you don’t have to think much. I don’t even need stitch markers.

Once you figure out how it works, you can do your own custom sizing, a different yarn weight and different designs all based on this beautiful and easy heel.
