Heritage Creek
Heritage Creek is the perfect cable hat for work and play! I designed it so you can wear it in two ways. Wear it slouchy for when you are feeling spunky and playful, or fold up the ribbing when you’re ready to work and need to keep those ears nice and toasty!
I used Hog Island and Romeldale/CVM wool yarns when knitting the two sizes of this hat. Both of these sheep breeds are rare and can they can use us knitters to help save them. By using their amazing wool, we can support the shepherds helping to preserve these breeds.
I encourage you to find a small family farm to purchase your yarn from when knitting this hat. It is so important to support the shepherds who are are working hard to supply us with wonderful yarn from their happy and healthy flocks.
