These socks were designed with Viking heritage in mind. Each sock features a band of shields that travels down both the front and back of the leg, continuing atop of the foot. Knit cuff down with a slip stitch heel, these will take your mind

Materials
350 - 400 yards (320 - 366 m)/100 grams of Gracelynn Wool Eighty Twenty, or other fingering weight yarn
US1.5 (2.5 mm) DPNs or circular needles in length necessary for preferred method of sock knitting
1 progress keeper (optional) and 2 stitch markers
Darning needle for weaving in ends

Finished measurements:
Small: 7 inches (17.8 cm) in circumference, to fit 8 inch (20.3 cm) foot
Medium: 8 inches (20.3 cm) in circumference, to fit 9 inch (22.8 cm) foot
Large: 9 inches (22.9 cm) in circumference, to fit 10 inch (25.4 cm) foot

Gauge:
8 sts and 11 rows in stockinette stitch = 1” (2.5 cm)
