Hermanni scarf
Description
Hermanni is a simple unisex garter stitch scarf. It is based on two geometrical shapes: quadrilateral and triangle. It has no limitations on length, yarn weight and gauge.
You can repeat quadrilateral block as many times as you have reached targeted length. Then you just add triangles into corners of quadrilateral blocks.
Width of the Hermanni scarf varies based on used yarn and gauge. Pattern gives examples with fingering weight yarn.
Pattern is test knitted.
Check Hermanni pattern family bundles on t-k knit design page.
Gauge with garter stitch
No limitations with gauge. Changes in gauge have influence on the measurements of Hermanni scarf.
Suggested gauge with garter stitch:
23sts x 46 rows / 10x10 cm
Yarn
No limitations on yarn weight. You can use any yarns with similar weight (meters per grams) into blocks.
Measurements and yarn consumption estimations in the pattern are based on following yarn:
• Yellow and white: Lanitium ex Machina, Polwarth Merino Single, 70% Polwarth, 30% Merino D’Arles, 400m/100g, https://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/lanitium-ex-machina...
