The Hermes Socks is an easy ribbed sock pattern with a delicate cable detail, worked toe-up, with gusset and slipped stitch heel for better fitting. Instructions are written for magic loop method, the cable instructions are charted and written for your convenience.

Hermes was one of the 12 Olympian Gods and was the god of trade, thieves, travelers, sports, athletes, and border crossings. He was the son of Zeus and Maia, who is one of the seven Pleiades and daughter of the Titan Atlas. Considered one of the most clever of the Olympian gods, and served as messenger for all the other gods and was said to dress as a shepherd, with wings on his feet and his cap.
