Who’s ready to go on an adventure?

There are hundreds of patterns for girls purses out there. Not so many for boys. When my son wanted a bag just like the one his favorite elven video game hero wears, I designed this fun and easy waist pack. Then my other sons wanted one too!

Here is pack especially made with boys in mind for all of those treasure seeking adventures! It goes right around the waist for easy access and comfort.

The finished bag measures 8 inches long but instructions are given to make it any size. In addition, an easy hook and loop enclosure has been added to make it more secure.

Beginners Level- very easy to make
Stitches used: slip stitch, chain, single crochet, half double crochet

It is all made in one piece and works up very quickly.

Bag shown was made with acrylic yarn but any yarn may be used. Make in a cool cotton blend or acrylic for the summer or wool /wool blend for winter activities.

This light and very easy to make bag is also great for girls too - just make a different color and add appliques or other girly embellishments.

This would make a good gift for joggers, walkers, hikers or anyone on the go. Nice for party favors as well.

Easily fits small items, cameras, cell phones, snacks like energy bars and even a small water bottle for hikes, and all kinds of treasure (for kids and adults)!

The small golden pouch:
These cute little bags are great as party favors- especially for pirate, beach and other sea-themed parties. Add a little treat for boys and girls. (pixie dust perhaps?)

Wear over the neck as a pendant AND it has a little chain for hanging. Make the strap as long or as short as you want.

The size of the pouch can be made larger or smaller depending on your choice of hook.
