As soon as I saw this yarn I was inspired to knit with it! Yarn Gee Fibers offers a line of yarns that are inspired by and named for inspirational, awesome women. This particular colourway is named for autism advocate, Temple Grandin. She’s a hero.

This yarn landed on my doorstep a few days before the Women’s March on January 21st, 2017. Witnessing women all over the world stand and march together with one voice made me feel more hopeful and inspired than I had in a long time. It made me hopeful for my daughter’s future and for the future of women everywhere.

This pattern is inspired by all the women who are my heroes.
