I love throwing my hair up into a messy bun and wrapping a headband around it to hide the frizzes and keep the fly aways out of my face. I had a bunch of adorable little mini balls of Scheepjes Stone Washed XL leftover from a kit that were just begging to become headbands! Though any heavy worsted weight yarn will work, this pattern is ideal for any yarn with very little stretch like cotton or linen.

Heavy Worsted weight yarn in 2 colors:

• Main Color (MC): Approx. 24 yards
• Contrast Color (CC): Approx 10 yards

Crochet Hook US F (3.75 mm)
Waste yarn for provisional cast on

Needles
US 10 (6.0 mm) circular or straight needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Extra needle in size US 7 (4.5mm)

Gauge
20 sts and 22 rows = 4 inches in body stitch with larger needle.

Measurements
One Size: The headband measures approximately 15” long, not including the ties. The ties are used to tighten it to fit your head circumference.
