Size
The hood comes in two sizes suitable for adults: short and (long). The difference between the two sizes is the length of the scarf.
If desired, you can easily adjust the length of the scarf or the depth of the hood according to your preference; simply knit the scarf to your desired length, and add or subtract stitches to adjust the depth of the hood.

Yarn
Heavy Merino, Knitting for Olive, Pearl Gray: 250 (350) grams.

You may use a different yarn with the same gauge if you wish – always choose mulesing-free and preferably sustainable yarn.

Needles
Circular or double-pointed needles 7 mm, depending on your preference. If you choose double-pointed needles, make sure they are long enough to hold the entire piece (about 20 cm).

Gauge
10 x 10 cm = 26 sts x 23 rows in herringbone stitch on 7 mm needles.

Description
The hooded scarf is knit by starting with the right side of the scarf, then knitting up one side of the hood and down the other, before knitting the left side of the scarf. Links to videos showing various techniques are included in the pattern.
