An original design by Theodora Goes Wild.

This turban is inspired by the turbans worn by women during WW2, to keep their hair tidy while they worked in the factories, on the land or in the home. Practical, but oh so stylish.

Worked flat on two needles, in a lacy herringbone rib, it has lots of stretch, making it perfect for a turban, and for keeping ears warm in the cold!

Perfect for the adventurous beginner. Stitches used are slipped stitch, p2tog and yfrn.

For the original, two 50g balls of BC Garn Semilla 100% organic wool were used in shade 109.
Excelana Luxury DK in Ruby Red would work well too.
