Needles:

Creates finer, shorter gloves, the ribs are stretched more over the hand, flatter texture.

US 7 double pointed needles (Pictures of green gloves)
Creates chunkier, longer gloves, the ribs stretch less for a deeper texture.

Gauge:
US6: 4.5 stitches and 5.5 rows = 1 inch in stockinette.

US7: 4.5 stitches and 5.5 rows = 1 inch in stockinette.
