Crochet pattern for a storage basket with a herringbone pattern.

Materials :

• 6mm Crochet Hook
• Approx 200 meters of chunky cotton yarn in cream (for this project I used Return of the Mac from Hobbycraft)
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Finished dimensions: 5.5 inches (height) x 9.5 inches
(circumference).

Pattern details :

• PDF file of 25 pages with detailed instructions, photo and video tutorials for stitches.
• Basic crochet skills required: magic ring, chain, slip stitch, single crochet, herringbone single crochet and herringbone slip stitch (tutorials included), increase, back loop only crochet.
• This pattern uses American crochet terminology
• The pattern is worked in a spiral until round 12.
• After round 12 the pattern is worked in rows, back and forth joining in the round at the end of each row.
