Hesperos is the Greek personification of the Evening Star. This was a star of rest, as it marked the end of the day when it appeared at twilight. When Rome became a Christian nation, this star was given the name “Vesper” and it was by this star that Romans said their Vesper prayers every night.

This is a bottom up sweater made in two parts, front and back. Accessibility was the focal point of these sweaters. I wanted the designs to be interesting, engaging, fun, and ultimately easy for knitters of any level to knit.

The Star relief motif is a charted pattern. It features only Knits and Purls and is worked flat (i.e. back and forth).
