Meet Hewie the Highland Cow! Hewie would be over the “moo”n if he was picked as your next project! He is a happy little highland cow that works great with most yarn weights! Please note, the pattern itself was worked with DK weight yarn and a C hook. The materials section and other specifics were based on the products that were initially used. However, this pattern is designed and tested to work with a variety of yarn weights. When worked with plush, blanket yarn, you can make an adorable mini plushie. When worked with dk weight yarn, this pattern makes an adorable Christmas tree ornament or keychain!

upon using the same hook size and yarn, your turtle will be the approximate sizes:

Yarn Specifics:
Any #3 or #4 weight yarn will work. (use blanket yarn if you’re looking to make a bigger plushie)
You may use any colors you would like, but keep in mind, I have coordinated the instructions based on the colors that I used.
You will need less than 50 yds of copper for the main color and less than 20 yds of beige for the hooves and horns.
