Hexagon Hat

There’s nothing about the hat’s shape that makes it hexagonal. It’s just that when I stretch syncopated brioche stitch a little, I think it makes a bunch of little hexagons, and decided that was as good a name as any.
This is a great one-skein pattern for the new brioche knitter. The stitch pattern makes an exceptionally stretchy hat, which should be able to snugly fit most any sized head. There are instructions for a slightly smaller version as well.
GAUGE NOTE: The 3 st/in is the unstretched measurement. However, the hat is designed to be stretched a considerable amount. Without pulling too tightly, the gauge should stretch out to nearly 2 st/in. Just make sure you swatch before hand.
